SALVATION IS FREE

Being born again through God’s plan of salvation is free, but even Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews found the term “Born Again”  difficult to understand. (John 3:4). What could it possibly mean, how could someone be born a second time”.

 God’s word teaches that when an unsaved person believes in God, and believes that Jesus is the son of God, and verbally asks him to come into his/her life, that Jesus then enters in , bringing with him the very spiritual DNA of God. (Romans 10:9-10). That is what it means to be born again, and is what sets Christianity apart from every other religion.

  It’s amazing that, having all the money in the world, belonging to any special group, or working to do good things will not obtain entry into heaven. Entry into heaven is available only through Jesus, and it is free, because Jesus paid the price, and he paid it all.

  Being born again makes all things new, including the way we live “…..old things have become new, (2cor5:17)”. Perhaps the miracle of all miracles is when his spirit enters in and we become new creatures! Then, the Bible tells us “….it is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20.

  The new born again believer, although totally saved with God’s guarantee of eternal life, is a baby in Christ. It is very important for the new Christian to have their own bible; seek out mature Christians; and go to find guidance, and learn about deeper things of God. Salvation is free.

   Fifteen or twenty years ago, people had to wait before they could make telephone calls. That means they waited while they were home or at their business to make telephone calls. But with faster computers, cell phones and other technologies, people can now make their calls as they drive, walk or ride mass transit. You must however realize that all the progress and quick conveniences of this generation are useless when it comes to seeking God. The “Hurry” mentality (way of thinking) just does not work when it comes to seeking God.

  You must seek the mind of your manufacturer- God concerning every component of the product (your life and ministry). That is why you must still settle your account with God before the last day of this year! The old time culture of waiting on the Lord is fast disappearing from the church today. Reject this! Your life must switch from the “hurry lane” to the waiting lane”. Rev. 5:8 says God “bottles” our prayers. He puts them in ‘golden vials full of odors”> that means every prayer you pray is well preserved and jealousy guarded by Jehovah. The culture of seeking God through fervent (host and boiling) prayers, fasting etc cannot be killed or replaced by faster GSM cell phones. Never hurry out of his presence. It leads to dryness and shame. Pay the price for the anointing and let us pray like Moses, Daniel, David, Esther, Paul and Jesus and we will walk in the same Glory as they did. Oh that we will let the old time religion return!
